This section is to share what has happened to the true Biblical Church today.
In the last section their is a free download titled "What is the Church?" and the book uses the term Religious Organization Profit Centers (ROPC) for the PERVERTED unBiblical Church.
As you review this page please keep in mind 3 main points when it comes to the PERVERTED ROPC:
- How can anyone be involved in an ROPC when Jesus stated in Matthew 22:36-40 that the 2 Greatest Commandments were to love God first and then to love thy neighbor as ourselves.
- Then Jesus stated in James 1:27 that TRUE RELIGION was to take care of the orphans and the widows and to be unstained by the world.
- The Bible tells us God gives us SPIRITUAL GIFTS in 1 Corinthians 12:9.
How can we love the orphans and the widows in need when we are giving OUR TITHE money to build these big buildings, pay ASTRONOMICAL salaries, pensions, benefits, etc. to the SO-CALLED "pastor" and staff?
If ALL of the real estate was sold of the ROPC's and salaries, benefits and maintenance was stopped and was redirected to the orphans and the widows, THINK how much money that would be!
Just contemplate this isolated information about the late Charles Stanley and that is one of how many just in the USA!
There was an article published in Baptists News Global on August 31, 2022 titled "At nearly 90, Charles Stanley makes half a million a year and his ministry is awash in cash".
The article details that not only did Charles Stanley make over a half a million dollars a year even after he retired but his organization “In Touch Ministries” had net assets of over $113 million!
The article goes on to say that the “ministry” had TRIPLED its CASH ASSETS from 2015 to 2019 taking in over $97 million in 2019!
How can we love the orphans and the widows in need when we are giving OUR TITHE to build buildings so we can be comfortable in heated and air conditioned buildings and be entertained by bands, music and FASLE TEACHING?
REMEMBER that Jesus never had a salary, pension, benefits, big buildings, etc. when He was teaching on the earth!
How can we use our SPIRITUAL GIFTS that God gave us, such as something the Holy Spirit has laid on someone's heart to share when a "pastor" is taking up all the speaking time without letting the Holy Spirit be revealed in the meeting?
